Two potential career choices in my life are an educator and veterinarian. This paper will list the requirements and address the question, should the government require licenses for these careers.
To become a teacher you need to first make sure you have a high school diploma. Second step is to enroll in a college. Step three, complete a teacher certification program then advance in the field. You also will need to have a lot of patience to be able to deal with the many different personality's that the
students come with. A teacher is a really important career. If we didn't have teachers we would have more people without an education which we already have enough of. It's a good thing that the government makes it mandatory for a teacher to have to be licensed before being able to actually be a teacher so that there will be accountability.
To become a veterinarian you have to complete 4 1/2 years of undergraduate education. You have to take classes such as biology, chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, physics, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, math, animal science, and more...and that's just to prepare them for veterinary school. It's best to take as many of those classes as you can while you're still enrolled in high school. Once you're in your senior year of college is when you'll take the next step, which is applying for veterinary school. After completing the D.V.M. or V.M.D., candidates have to take the North American Veterinary Licensing Evaluation (NAVLE) in order to practice in the U.S. Last but not least they have to take an oath, "Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health, the relief of animal suffering, the conservation of livestock resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge. I will practice my profession conscientiously, with dignity, and in keeping with the principles of veterinary medical ethics. I accept as a lifelong obligation the continual improvement of my professional knowledge and competence." The government also requires you to be licensed before becoming a veterinarian to make sure you are qualified and this requirement should continue to remain this way.
Good effort here. No in text citations. It is a well organized essay, but missing a conclusion.
ReplyDeleteAlso there are facts listed, but need some analysis. Which is the harder degree to earn? Some comparison and contrast between the two in the conclusion would have improved the research paper. Mr. Gates
